Our project was launched on 1 August 2009. From then until spring 2012, around 100 unemployed young adults from Berlin will be able to prepare themselves for a job at the Berlin Brandenburg airport (BER) currently under construction, or at a similar international environment.
They will develop new career goals, hone their foreign language skills and intercultural competency, gain experience abroad within Europe and submit job applications.
At the same time we are working with experts from the education, business and administrative sectors in Berlin and European partner regions to create a long-term sustainable model for qualifying skilled laborers for international workplaces.
Job destination airport is supported by the national European Social Fund program IdA – Integration durch Austausch (Integration through Exchange) under the aegis of the German Federal Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs.
